What we'll do
Day 1.
Setting off for the hike from the Rose's Last chance Guest house to Bumasola village on a boda. Hike upto Sasa River Camp and spend an overnight there.
Day 2.
After Early morning breakfast, hike from Sasa river camp to Mude cave camp where you will proceed straight to the wagagai Peak ,4321 meters Above sea leve via Jackson pool and Jackson Peak which will take approximately 6-7 hours to and back to Mude Cave camp.
Day 3.
After morning Breakfast, you will start your hike quite early from Mude cave camp and cross to Sasa trail where you will have your exit from the park. check in at Uganda wildlife Authority office for your certificate handover then you either spend a extra night at Rose's Last chance of continue to your next destination.

Mount Elgon has the world's largest Caldera. It's the Second highest Mountain in Uganda with a height of 4,321m A.S.L after the snow peak mountain of the Rwenzori.

The booking fee ($45.00 p.p. included in the displayed price) is non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If a local cancels a booking or does not show up at the agreed time and place, you receive a full refund of the booking fee.

We give space for creativity. The locals themselves decide and develop the activity idea and design it in a way they find interesting.

Meet the Local
I’m a young and passionate guide working with Discover Sipi as a guide. I’m born of a sabiny tribe, one of the natives belonging to the Kalenjin community, living on the slopes of mt.elgon, kapchorwa district, Eastern Uganda. I speak English , Kiswahili and Kupsabiny, one of the local dialect spoken by the locals here. I’m so passionate about my profession as a tour guide working in sipi falls, one of the popular attraction in Eastern Uganda after Jinja. I have worked as a site guide over a decade, with wide range of knowledge and experience I have acquired during that period of time in the field has made me among the most outstanding guides in the area (sipi) I’m a social and interactive man who respects everyone’s views and opinions. Guiding and travelling was born inside me. Want to get spoilt and lost in adventure, try me, you will never regret your time.
