What we'll do
Dining Once seated, guests are invited to take part in a hand washing ceremony and to taste the local brew, before the four-course feast begins, with a shared starter platter, featuring specialities such as smoked crocodile tail.
To Start: The Boma restaurant menu has something for everyone. Your four-course dinner begins with a shared starter platter featuring mouth-watering specialities such as skewered peppered impala, smoked crocodile tail and corn ciabatta and “nyimo” fritters.
The Main Course: Make your way to the campfire for the chef’s freshly made soup of the day, before indulging in a feast featuring a braai (barbeque) buffet including our famous warthog “pumba” steak, beef, pork and marinated chicken and our spit roast of the day. You may also tempt your taste buds with one of our traditional hunter’s stews, our fish – Zambezi bream and kapenta (freshwater sardine), or peanut butter rice or spinach and sadza isitshwala (a thick maize-meal porridge which is the staple diet of the country). Other vegetarian dishes include a vegetable stir-fry and chef’s daily pasta dish.
There is also an extensive salad bar. Halaal diners are also catered for.
For The Adventurous: Try a local delicacy, a dried mopane worm, for which you will get a certificate as proof! The Dessert Selection:
To round off your feast, enjoy a choice of desserts from the buffet which include: creme caramel, chocolate mousse, fruit salad, and many more sweet sensations
The Drinks Selection: We have a selection of soft drinks, local and imported beers and wines, as well as spirits including a wide variety of whiskies and liqueurs.
